Radial Goggomobil
This car is batshit insane. I love hatshit insane.
A German by the name of Uwe Wulf found that in one hand, he had a tiny Goggomobil, a 298cc 15 hp twin-cylinder microcar built in Germany in the 1950s. In the other hand, he had a Russian-bult 10220cc Vedeneyev M14P 9-cylinder radial airplane engine that made 360hp and a devilish 666 foot-pounds of torque. Like any batshit-insane guy with a shop, he put them together. There was a small problem to his plan, though. No one makes a transmission for a Russian-bult 10220cc Vedeneyev M14P 9-cylinder radial airplane engine. So he made one. From scratch. This is a man to be feared and respected. Watch the video below, and check out the images posted at Jalopnik, then tell me if you don't agree this man is insane, but in a most beautiful way.
