Big Tokyo Trip 2007
Back in 2007, I unexpectedly got a few days off from work, and decided on a whim to head up to Tokyo for a few days. The English school where I taught had its flaws, to be certain, but one of the advantages of working there was that they had their own travel agency, which often put together little package trips. So I got four days and three nights in a pretty nice Shinjuku hotel, and round-trip Shinkansen tickets, for basically the price of the tickets.
The weather was awesome, the first decent spring weather of the year, and I walked miles and miles all over Tokyo, looking for some random stuff, such as a shoe store that sold large sizes and a good Mexican place that was recommended to me by a friend. Unfortunately, some other issues I was dealing with at the moment meant that I couldn't really appreciate everything as much as I might have liked, but I managed to take lots of photos anyway.
One the last day, I met up with my friend Yoshimi, and we had a great day going all over the place. That was nice.
Anyway, here are the photos. Enjoy.
